The Prime Minister´s office reported on the meeting as a content-rich discussion, covering the joys and concerns of Estonians living in the United States; topics included issues facing the Estonian-language media and publications abroad, keeping Estonian language fluency abroad, maintaining ties between American Estonians and Estonia from generation to generation, cooperation in the newly formed Global Estonian government commission, and also concerns regarding citizenship as it relates to Estonians living in the United States.
