The EANC Election Committee announces the following list of candidates for the XXIV
Council Elections.

As stipulated in the EANC bylaws, a period will be allowed for members of the public to
challenge the eligibility of any candidate. Signed, written challenges must be sent to the
Election Committee Co-Chairs (eanc2026election@estosite.org) no later than May 18.

Anyone legally living in the U.S. who meets the following criteria is eligible: Must be at least 21 years old by the final day of the election; be of Estonian descent, an immediate family member of such an individual, or belong to the Estonian American community through a family relationship; agree with Council goals expressed in the EANC Constitution; and attest in writing to meeting the above criteria.

The final list of candidates will be published in the Free Estonian Word (Vaba Eesti Sõna) newspaper and on the EANC website, www.estosite.org. Election dates, scheduled for this summer, will be announced at that time.
