April 21, 2021Top Foreign Policy Experts Join Panel of CEEC Briefing hosted by EANC
The Estonian American National Council (EANC), as a member of the Central and East European Coalition (CEEC), is taking the lead in hosting a panel discussion event highlighting issues facing NATO ahead of the 2021 NATO summit. The event will focus on topics that are relevant to U.S. policy regarding the nations of central and eastern Europe and beyond. It will take place via Zoom on the morning of April 22nd at 10:00 EDT.
The event is titled CEEC Policy Briefing: Runup to the 2021 NATO Summit and will consist of two panel discussions. The first addresses specific challenges for the alliance, specifically security challenges in the Black Sea region; NATO’s open door policy and interoperability challenges; and challenges in securing the Suwalki Corridor. The second panel will look at bigger picture NATO policy priorities for the CEE region. Confirmed speakers include: Mr. Ian Brzezinski, LTG (Retired) Ben Hodges, Mr. Greg Melcher, Ambassador Richard Morningstar, and Ambassador Kurt Volker.
