Üleilmse eestluse virtuaalfoorum/ Global Estonian Forum

December 7, 2023 @ 9:00 am

The virtual forum for Estonians across the globe is held on 7 December at 16.00 Estonian time (09:00 Eastern, 06:00 Pacific)

The upcoming event is the Foreign Ministry’s 6th virtual forum for Estonians across. This time, the forum covers very practical aspect – the possibilities of Estonia’s e-state from the perspective of an Estonian living abroad.

To provide some inspiration for your summer holiday plans, we are taking you to the University town of Tartu, in southern Estonia. Tartu has been named the European Capital of Culture in 2024. The entire region of southern Estonia is involved.

Register to win! This time we will spin the wheel again, and offer one forum participant the chance to win plane tickets (2) to Estonia and two nights in a hotel in Tallinn.

After some great discussion, the forum also features music by Duo Ruut. We meet writer and director Anna Hints, who has been touring the US with her masterful film Soke Sauna Sisterhood. Anna Hints will be the closing interview of this year’s forum series. The virtual forum is moderated by journalist Silver Tambur.

You can watch and think along with the virtual forum of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from any location with an internet connection. The forum will have simultaneous interpretation into English and Russian.
