Panel Discussion: University of Virginia Ambassador Series

The University of Virginia Center for Politics invites you to this special Ambassador Series event featuring the Ambassadors of the Baltic republics: Her Excellency Audra Plepytė, Ambassador of Lithuania; His Excellency Kristjan Prikk, Ambassador of Estonia; and His Excellency Māris Selga, Ambassador of Latvia will participate in this panel discussion on the countries’ relationships with the United States and current concerns impacting their nations, the region, and Europe. A special focus will be placed on the war in Ukraine and its potential impact on the Baltic republics.

The panel will be introduced by UVA Center for Politics Director of Global Initiatives, Daman Irby, and moderated by Professor Philip Zelikow, the White Burkett Miller Professor of History at the University of Virginia. Co-hosts of this event include the UVA Center for Politics; UVA Office of Global Affairs; Center for Russian, Eastern European and Eurasian Studies; and the European Studies Program.
