Global Estonian Virtual Forum

May 2 @ 9:00 am

The Foreign Ministry’s 7th virtual forum for Estonians worldwide will be held May 2 at 9 a.m. Eastern (6 a.m. Pacific).

This time, the Forum looks at opportunities in Estonian available to young people of Estonian origin living abroad, Estonia is a land that is located on the coast of the Baltic Sea amidst forests and bogs, and is growing unicorns at a heady pace. We will look at the present and peek into the future. We are starting with a new format – a video postcard of the community. The forum is moderated by Ellen Valter, the soul and leader of KESKUS, the International Estonian Centre in Toronto, and music will be provided by musician and poet EiK, who just won the popular vote of the Language Achievement Award.

The virtual forum will be translated into English and Russian.

Participate to be entered into the prize drawing: Win a round-trip plane ticket for two to Estonia, plus two nights of hotel accommodation in Tallinn. The drawing will be held on May 10 at 12.00 Estonian time.
