EANC Visnapuu Award Nominees Announced

Henrik Visnapuu nimeline kirjanduspreemia loodi USAs 1952 ja seda anti välja kuni aastani 2007. Seejärel tegevus katkes auhinnafondi loonute surma tõttu. ERKÜ taastas Visnapuu auhinna 2020. aastal, otsustades auhinda välja anda igal teisel aastal ning laiendas auhinna haardeulatust üldisemaks kultuuriauhinnaks.

The literary prize named for beloved Estonian writer Henrik Visnapuu was initially created in the USA in 1952 and was awarded until 2007. EANC re-estabished the Visnapuu Award in 2020, and now presents the award every other year. EANC partners with the Estonian Writers Union and the municipality of Luunja (where Visnapuu was born).
