Russia’s aggression against Ukraine threatens the security not just of Kyiv but all of Europe, bringing the continent the closest it has been to full-scale war for the past 70 years. Russia’s continued election meddling, border revisionism, and continued provocations against Central and Eastern European NATO members widen the lens of this crisis, especially as Russian demands have included a wide-reaching restructuring of Europe’s post-Cold War security system. In response, European capitals from Tallinn to London have been in a flurry of policy debates and actions, including negotiations, arms shipments, and sanctions coordination to push back against Russian aggression.

As this crisis unfolds, Europe’s policymakers and legislators will play an important role in approving and institutionalizing European states’ efforts to counter Russia’s aggression. To discuss what actions Europe can take in the face of the escalating crisis, the Europe Center is proud to host legislators and parliamentarians from across Europe’s national parliaments and the European Parliament to discuss their perspectives of the crisis and what role European countries and European institutions must play in resolving it.

This discussion will take place on Zoom and will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook
