MUSI*CAL: Presenting songs from So-Cal composers, writers, performers

Songs from Singing Revolution: The Musical will be presented (along with others) at the special event MUSI-CAL, a night of music at the Bourbon Room Hollywood, is so excited to support Southern California composers, writers and performers by sharing their songs from New Musicals for Theater and Film.

Singing Revolution: The Musical 

Book & Lyrics by James Bearhart & Tony Spinosa; Concept & Music by Tony Spinosa 

A contemporary musical with a Europop score. It is the story of Taavi Tamm, the leader of the resistance movement who falls in love with the daughter of the enemy. Inspired by the Estonian revolution against the Soviet Union, Taavi leads his fellow countrymen to freedom through the power of song. Singing Revolution parallels our current times and is a reminder that the peaceful power of our voices can change the world. 

Concert performances feature Justin Matthew Sargent (Broadway: Spider-Man, Rock of Ages, Bonnie & Clyde) and Bella Hicks (National Tour: Waitress) with Musical Direction by Brent Crayon.

The musical explores how the lives of these two children are changed forever.
