The Connecticut Estonia Society will hold an informal observance of St. John’s Day, Jaanipäev, on June 26th at the Estonian Society Grounds (Eesti Maa), 25 Times Farms Road, Andover, CT 06232. Come and enjoy our beautiful Estonian property with friends and family. The gate will open at 3:00 pm, volleyball play possible, and the bonfire will start at 7:00 pm. Participants will bring their food and beverages. Tenting is permitted.
This event will be an informal observance, with limited program.
Guest speaker on the topic of Victory Day: Professor Kaarel Piirimäe (Fulbright; visiting at Yale University).
Special event: RedHot Sauna, a sauna on wheels! – will be making a special stop at the Estonian grounds to celebrate summer! Please bring your own towel. Per person contributions.
NB! Due to the pandemic, the CES Board has decided not to require dues for the calendar year 2020. There will be no cover charge at the gate for this event, but participants are encouraged to pay their 2021 CES membership dues to our treasurer (Margus Laan, 3 Russell St. Wallingford, CT 06492) or to make a donation. The current CES dues are as follows: Adult $40; Senior (65 years old or older) $30; Student (16 to 21 years of age) $10.

Connecticuti Eesti Selts peab 26. juunil informaalse jaanipäeva tähistamine Eesti Seltsi maal, 25 Times Farms Road, Andover, CT 06232. Tulge ja nautige meie kaunist Eesti maad koos sõpradega ning peredega. Värav avatakse kell 15.00, võimalik on võrkpalli mängida
ja lõke algab kell 19.00. See üritus on informaalne ilma ametliku programmita. Osalejad toovad kaasa oma sööke ja jooke. Selle ürituseks ei nõuta sissepääsu raha, kuid annetused on teretulnud.
