Baltic Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill – NB! Postponed (until 2021)
Join JBANC and Baltic community members and supporters to advocate for the interests of Estonian Americans! Please indicate your interest and availability for either May 8 or May 11-12, by responding to jbanc@jbanc.org by March 25.
Your preregistration will help organizers plan ahead, set up appointments and meetings, and to determine any changes or adjustments needed in the program. RSVP via email: jbanc@jbanc.org.
May 8: Baltic Youth Advocacy Day
Join American youth – Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian youth organization members – advocating on the Hill. (Everyone is welcome to join if available, regardless of age).
May 9: European Union Open House events
JBANC and EANC encourage everyone who is in town to visit the Baltic embassies, as well as other European embassies, that will be organizing special events all day long. This is a chance to participate in the cultural and culinary aspects of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and beyond.
May 11: Advocacy day training
Seminar/panel discussions, and reception.
May 12: Baltic Advocacy Day on the Hill
Make your voice heard in support of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Meet on Capitol Hill with your local representatives and let them know about Estonian and Estonian American interests!
