Estonian Academic Mens Choir North American Tour – NYC

Tartu Academic Male Choir (TAM) is Coming to the USA! 

Join them for a special concert by the Tartu Academic Male Choir from Estonia.

Our fifth and final concert of the tour will be held in New York alongside with The New York Estonian Mixed Choir!

Founded in 1912, TAM is the oldest continuously active male choir in Estonia and an important part of our country’s musical tradition. The conductors of the choir are Roland Viilukas and Made Ritsing.

On this North American tour, 30 singers will perform beautiful Estonian and European choral music, including works by famous composers like Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, and many more.

Our fifth and final concert of the tour will be held in New York alongside with The New York Estonian Mixed Choir! The choir was formed in 2013 when the New York Estonian Men’s Chorus and the New York Estonian Women’s Chorus became one. The choir also visited XXVIII Song Celebration’s Festival 2025 in Estonia! The conductor of the choir is Krista Altok Tassa.

Tour Dates: August 16–29.

Tartu Akadeemiline Meeskoor (TAM) tuleb USA-sse! 

Oled oodatud kuulama Tartu Akadeemilise Meeskoori erilist kontserti Ameerika Ühendriikides!

Tartu Akadeemiline Meeskoor on asutatud 1912. aastal ning on vanim järjepidevalt tegutsev meeskoor Eestis ja oluline osa meie muusikakultuurist. Tartu Akadeemilise meeskoori dirigendid on Roland Viilukas ja Made Ritsing.

Põhja-Ameerika turneel esitab 30 lauljat Eesti ja Euroopa koorimuusikat, sealhulgas teoseid tuntud heliloojatelt nagu Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis ja paljud teised.

Meie turnee viies ja ühtlasi viimane kontsert toimub New Yorgis koos New Yorgi Eesti Segakooriga! Koor loodi 2013. aastal, kui New Yorgi Eesti Meeskoor ja New Yorgi Eesti Naiskoor ühinesid. Koor külastas ka XXVIII Laulu- ja Tantsupidu Tallinnas. Koori juhatab Krista Altok Tassa.
