Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians and supporters gather to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Baltic Way, the peaceful human chain that defied the Kremlin and demanded freedom for the Baltic peoples of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This event, organized by BALTNET, is free and open to the public. Join us! Flags and national folk dress are recommended.
Participants will gather at the Freedom Tree and the memorial stone established to mark Black Ribbon Day, the anniversary of the secret protocols of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact between Hitler and Stalin, which let to the illegal annexation of these countries.
