SUMMARY:THE WASHINGTON BLUE HEPATICA RUN 2025: Anname Au!
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to salute and run to support the Estonian troops at \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE WASHINGTON BLUE HEPATICA RUN 2025 \n\n\n\nThe Two-Mile Blue Hepatica run/Sinilillejooks has become a tradition of “Let us Salute!” campaign and in 2025 takes place across Estonia; in Copenhagen\, Denmark; Brussels\, Belgium; and for the eighth time also in Washington\, DC. \n\n\n\nThe registration fees for the “Let us Salute!” campaign are used to purchase mobility aids and other rehabilitation equipment for the Estonian wounded troops. \n\n\n\nThe run is open to everyone interested. This is a family event.Participants are welcome to run/walk. The path is scooter\, stroller friendly.The parking is available at the parking lot nearby.Park amenities: pavilions\, playground\, dog park\, restrooms. \n\n\n\n10:30 am: Bib pickup begins11:30 am: Race starts \n\n\n\n2-Mile Run \n\n\n\n$11.60incl. $1.60 Fee 11:30AM EDT–12:30PM EDT \n\n\n\nRegistration ends May 31\, 2025 at 11:45am EDT \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nRegister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe forecast calls for clouds\, and warm temps at 69 F\, possibly a little rain (60%).Please come around 10:30\, so you will have time to get your number as a runner.  \n\n\n\nIf you would like to get a Blue Hepatica pin on Saturday\, then please join us on Saturday and purchase the pin online (only 20 available). People who will attend the event on Saturday and have purchased the pin online (or by cash on Saturday) will have the priority to claim the pin. \n\n\n\nAfter the run\, join us for a picnic\, followed by the annual meeting for the Washington Estonian Society follows. WES will provide plates\, forks\, water and cups. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks\, salads or cakes for sharing! \n\n\n\nIf you would like to volunteer at the event to make it a wonderful celebration or become part of our Board\, please let us know at  info@washingtonestoniansociety.org.
