DESCRIPTION:Joint Baltic American National Committee encourages you to participate in the Baltic Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill. \nBaltic-American constituents meet with their members of Congress to voice concerns over issues relevant to the Baltics.\nDue to the Covid-19 pandemic\, in-person meetings will not be possible this year\, therefore JBANC and partner Baltivist are working hard to make these meetings possible virtually!\n\n\nMeetings will be scheduled for the evenings of March 8-12\nFormat: Zoom or conference call\, depending on staffer preferences\nParticipants may be asked to join meetings for Congressional Offices that do not represent them\nThough places at constituent meetings are limited\, other ways to participate will be made available.\n\n\nPlease note\, there will be a limited number of meetings scheduled for the week.\n \n\n\nRegistration: https://baltivist.com/advocacy-day-2021-sign-up\n\n\nThe site will also provide valuable resources to aid in preparation for the event. She was previously the Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure in Jüri Ratas’ first cabinet from 2016 to 2019. From 2007–2016 Kadri Simson was a member of the 11th\, 12th\, and 13th Riigikogu (Estonian parliament) and in 2019 she was also elected to the 14th Riigikogu. \nMr. Frederick Kempe\, President and CEO\, Atlantic Council: Mr. Kempe is the president and CEO of the Atlantic Council. Before joining the Council in 2007\, Mr. Kempe was a prize-winning editor and reporter at the Wall Street Journal for more than twenty-five years. He was also the longest-serving editor and associate publisher of the Wall Street Journal Europe\, running the global Wall Street Journal’s editorial operations in Europe and the Middle East.
