Thompson Center on Public Leadership of University of Wisconsin.  \n\n\n\n\nRegister here \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Thompson Center and UW-Madison Center for European Studies on February 18 for a conversation on Cold War Leadership with Mart Laar\, former Prime Minister of Estonia. The event\, titled Out from the Cold\, will center on the Estonian experience of the Cold War.  \n\n\n\nMart Laar\, Ph.D.\, was born in 1960 in Soviet-occupied Estonia. He participated in the Resistance movement and worked for the restoration of Estonian statehood in 1991. He has served twice as Prime Minister of the Estonian Republic.
