DESCRIPTION:The Estonian Worldwide Youth Network invites active Estonian youth aged 14-30 to participate at the EWYN Virtual Days 2021 event! \nThe Virtual Days will take place via Zoom in approximately 2.5-hour sessions on two consecutive Saturdays\, June 5 and 12\, starting at 17.00 Estonian time. Ühinege teie ka\, või kutsutge teised külla!!   \nLisame siia avalike üritusi nagu nendest teada saame. \n  \nJaanipäev celebrations to be held on June 26th : \nin Connecticut\, \n25 Times Farm Road\,  \nAndover\, CT 06232 \nThe Connecticut Estonia Society will hold an informal observance of St. John’s Day\, Jaanipäev\, on June 26th at the Estonian Society Grounds (Eesti Maa)\, 25 Times Farms Road\, Andover\, CT 06232. Come and enjoy our beautiful Estonian property with friends and family. The gate will open at 3:00 pm\, volleyball play possible\, and the bonfire will start at 7:00 pm. Participants will bring their food and beverages. Tenting is permitted.  \nThis event will be an informal observance\, with limited program.  \nGuest speaker on the topic of Victory Day: Professor Kaarel Piirimäe (Fulbright; visiting at Yale University).  \nSpecial event: RedHot Sauna\, a sauna on wheels! –  will be making a special stop at the Estonian grounds to celebrate summer! Please bring your own towel. Per person contributions.  \nNB! Due to the pandemic\, the CES Board has decided not to require dues for the calendar year 2020. There will be no cover charge at the gate for this event\, but participants are encouraged to pay their 2021 CES membership dues to our treasurer (Margus Laan\, 3 Russell St. Wallingford\, CT 06492) or to make a donation. DESCRIPTION:Connecticuti Eesti Selts kutsub liikmeid\, sõpru\, uusi-vanu  tähistama Võidupüha ja Jaaniõhtut! \nGates open at 3 pm. Tenting permitted. \nVolleyball\, nature\, picnic\, singing and socializing around the St. John´s Eve bonfire.  \nThe Connecticut Estonian Society welcomes you to join them in celebrating Victory Day and the summer solstice festivities at the beautiful Estonian Grounds in Andover\, Connecticut. Bring your own picnic\, BYOB.  \nCES will be joined by Prof. Kaarel Piirimäe (Fulbright scholar at Yale University) for a short talk on the origins of Estonia´s Victory Day. Cap off the night by the traditional midsummer bonfire\, cooling off after a nice hot sauna!  The CES is pleased to present to you a very special opportunity to appreciate Estonia´s sauna culture thanks to a longawaited appearance by RedHot Sauna\, a sauna on wheels!
