SUMMARY:Commemoration of 32nd Anniversary of Baltic Way
DESCRIPTION:Estonians\, Latvians\, Lithuanians and supporters gather to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Baltic Way\, the peaceful human chain that defied the Kremlin and demanded freedom for the Baltic peoples of Estonia\, Latvia and Lithuania. This event\, organized by BALTNET\, is free and open to the public. Join us! Flags and national folk dress are recommended.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will gather at the Freedom Tree and the memorial stone  established to mark Black Ribbon Day\, the anniversary of the secret protocols of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact between Hitler and Stalin\, which let to the illegal annexation of these countries.   \n\n\n\nThe schedule is as follows: \n\n\n\nOpening of the event – the Music from Baltics. \n\n\n\nCoordinator of the Music – Ruth Petkaitis \n\n\n\nPhotos & Video – by Paulius Nenortas & Dr. Dalia Giedrimiene \n\n\n\nOfficial Program – starts at 12:05 \n\n\n\nIntroduction by Dr. D.
